Technip’s commitment to transform MMHE into a world-class fabricator

Technip picked up a 8% stake in Pasir Gudang-based Malaysia Marine Heavy Engineering (MMHE) late 2010. Now the two parties are joint venture partners on the Malikai tension leg platform (TLP) development that Shell awarded to MMHE and Technip in their successful bid during an international round. Technip and MMHE are widely expected to bid jointly for further large platform projects in Malaysia, although it is not strictly exclusive.
