Miclyn nets Chevron work

Miclyn Express Offshore through its JV Uniwise has won three 4+1 year AHTS contracts to work for Chevron in the Gulf of Thailand. MEO recently won a round of long-term extensions on some key assets as well as multi vessel tender wins with Saudi Aramco and Brunei Shell Petroleum. Its forward order book now sits at about $750m, “an all-time high for the company”.

Prosafe in profits turnaround

Prosafe reported a net profit of $18.3m in 1Q2014, versus a $0.7m loss a year ago. Revenue was 7% up to $91.7m while financial expenses was significantly lower in 1Q2014. Prosafe had a utilisation rate for the period of 76% and order backlog is at record $2.5bn.

Seadrill secures contracts for jackup units

Seadrill has secured four new contracts and one extension with total contract value of approximately $319m. Following these fixtures, Seadrill has 92% of its jackup capacity contracted for 2014 and 64% for 2015.  The total order backlog for the jack-up fleet is $4.4bn and average remaining contract duration is 2.6 years.

Saipem engineering & construction contracts on track with 2013 targets

Saipem announces that it has already exceeded 50% of its new contract acquisition target for 2013 in the Engineering & Construction (E&C) Business Unit. The total value is approximately €6.1 billion, and supports the likelihood of achieving a full-year order intake, similar to recent years, of approximately €11 billion.
