APGA opposes two LNG export applications

The first application was filed by Texas LNG to export approximately 98.6 Bcf/yr to FTA and non-FTA countries from a proposed South Texas LNG export project.  The second application was from Venture Global LNG to export approximately 243.6 Bcf/yr of domestic LNG to FTA and non-FTA countries from a proposed LNG export project in Louisianna.

Venture Global to develop LNG export facility in Louisiana

Venture Global LNG is developing a LNG export facility, the Calcasieu Pass Project, in southwestern Louisiana. The export facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, will be 203 acres along the Calcasieu Ship Channel where it meets the Gulf of Mexico, with operations beginning in late 2019.
