Technip-owned Genesis has been awarded FEED contract by Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) for the Deen Dayal gas expansion project off India’s east coast. Genesis offered a very competitive price in June, in a bid against WorleyParsons, JP Kenny, Mustang and domestic player Engineers India (EIL).

Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) is seeking an engineering contractor for conceptual work, basic engineering and project management services covering the development of six gas discoveries in the Deen Dayal field off India’s east coast. Wood Group and WorleyParsons were involved in conceptual studies for the first phase which includes a processing and living quarters platform and one wellhead platform. Domestic player Engineers India (EIL) could also show interest.
