Technip-owned Genesis has been awarded FEED contract by Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) for the Deen Dayal gas expansion project off India’s east coast. Genesis offered a very competitive price in June, in a bid against WorleyParsons, JP Kenny, Mustang and domestic player Engineers India (EIL).

The Malaysian unit of Wood Group Mustang has won a three-year EPCM contract from ExxonMobil, which is likely to cover standing developments, potentially extending to ExxonMobil’s second water-alternate-gas enhanced oil recovery project at the Guntong oilfield.

ONGC has just floated a tender for the FEED design covering deep-water KG-DWN-98/2 project off India’s east coast. WorleyParsons, US-based Universal-Pegasus, Technip, Aker Solutions and Wood Group subsidiaries Mustang and JP Kenny, are likely to participate in the bid process.
